Bird toys for caiques

Caiques play rougher than any other bird their size. They wrestle toys, hop on them, throw them and lie on their backs kicking them. A toy that only hangs still will not hold them for long.

Foot toys are essential, and medium hardness wood lasts them better than soft. The larger sisal beads, finger traps and the bigger hanging toys with mixed textures suit them well. Expect to replace parts often; that is a sign the toy is doing its job.
