Collection: Bird toys for pionus

Pionus are the quiet ones. Slower to approach a new toy than a conure and gentler with it once they do, they are often assumed not to want much because a calm bird does not shout about it. They do want it.

Medium hardness suits them. They are strong enough to get through willow and bamboo and patient enough to work at a foraging toy rather than smash it. Introduce new toys slowly, near a perch, and leave them in place longer than you think you need to.

Everything undyed, untreated and handmade in the UK.
